Vacation Bible School

July 13 – 17 9am – noon

Crocodile Dock is buzzing with fun for kids, teenagers, and adults. Everyone involved in this VBS will explore God’s Word… and never be the same again. Register to take part as a bayou crew member (Preschool – ages 3-5 or Elementary – grades 1st – 5th).

To register your child for VBS, click on the Crocodile Dock Picture.

When you are on the new page, look on the left hand side to find the the participant registration and click there and follow instructions. If you would like to volunteer, you can also register at the site at the volunteer area.

Please check the board in the church hallway to find out how you can help by donating, or lending items and food that we need for VBS.  Sign your name next to the item, and you can take a firefly and attach it to the item you are lending the program.  Food items that do not need refrigeration can be brought anytime, and put in the 3rd and 4th grade classroom, along with other items.  Food that needs to be refrigerated should be labeled VBS and put in the frig by July 12th.

We continue to finalize our staff – so please let Carolyn know if you are interested and you can also sign up to volunteer online at the church website.  At this time we are still looking for a few more crew leaders – age 14 to adult. Contact Carolyn Niederer or Theresa Fitzsimmons.

 

UPCOMING EVENTS

July 9: Gospelfest opens Byronfest on Thursday at 6:30 pm on the front lawn of Neighbors Nursing Home.

Bring lawn chairs and join in with the singing
of your favorite hymns and choruses. Enjoy the talent of local churches and the lead group. Following the entertainment is the famous mouthwatering Cake/Pie Ice Cream Social sponsored by Byron area churches and Neighbors Nursing Home.  If you would like to donate pie or cake, please sign up on hallway bulletin board.

July 12: Float for the Parade!

Let’s all make plans to help create an amazing float for All Saints Church. Byron Fest is July 10-12. The Parade is on Sunday the 12th at 2pm. All of the groups of the church are welcome to take part in the float. Contact Audrey Adams for details.
